All cabins are self contained cabins. You have everything you need for a weekend getaway. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes, accessories, food and drinks. Unless you are staying for a while then you do have to top up your needs such as soap, toilet paper, also don't forget to bring your shampoo and conditioner as this is not provided. Straddie Bungalow grounds are very well maintained throughout your stay there. They also have a beautiful pool area to swim, lounge around in or just simply sun baking in. The pool has three dolphins in the tiles on the floor of the pool. There is a cave that hangs over the pool that you can sit underneath and at night in the cave, there is different coloured lights which make it beautiful. There is a play area for smaller children, with swings, and a cubby house. The owners thought of just about everything in their little oasis by the sea. They are in the process of building a small kiosk down by the jetty area for the people. I am certain it will be wonderful when they do get that finished.
That's about where the modern world stops, the rooms have no wifi and no television. While very close to the beach, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable offering the visitor the rest and quiet they came here for. It's advisable to grocery shop for food and drink before heading to the resort as the shops here close early and it helps to have something to munch in the middle of the night. If you do need to go for a drive into town, there are two restaurants open 24 hours, Restaurant Rakyat was my preferred place with its delicious Soto Ayam. It's also helpful to not forget that sundown here starts at 630 and everything is dark by 730pm. The hot water shower while nice and hot does flow at a low pressure so it's advisable to fill the bucket they provide in the bathroom to wash the sandy clothes you'll have after the time at the beach.
