Also, do you mean that you're trying to book a room in a two bed apartment or the whole apartment? Because they let out on a room basis.
We love staying at pubs and, for the most part, tend not to expect much. Let's face it, we stay there because we are looking for something simple and cheap. Well this was simple but not necessarily cheap. The room was very small, old and dingie. Pubs are not renown for spending any effort on the accommodation because that's not the main income. Glad we travel with our own pillows because the ones on the bed stunk like hundreds of people who had slept on them before we got there. The towels smelled like they had not been dried properly before being folded so they had that off musty smell. Kitchenette had no sink but a plastic tub for dirty dishes to be left in for collection to be cleaned. Wasn't emptied in the time we stayed. There was no way I was using any of the jam or vegemite that was supplied for the continental breakfast (not that there was any bread to make toast anyway apart from a half loaf of fruit bread scrunched up in the freezer) they were greasy with the contents smeared over the outside of the jars.
