I'm from UK. I've got an offer for chemistry with a Bsc at the Uni of Plymouth and an offer for chemistry with a preliminary year from the uni of Bristol. They are both unconditional offers. I'm incredibly stuck on which one to go because they both have amazing aspects. With Plymouth, the support system sounds amazing and it feels like the lecturers get to know who you are (I think the class sizes are a lot smaller) and the labs are ISO 9001 certified laboratories which can look good for employers. Plymouth is a non-Russel group Uni and is in 14th for the guardian league tables for chemistry and is 2nd with "satisfied with teaching". The city of Plymouth looks really nice, and I like how the uni is in the middle of the city. I also like the societies and the beach setting. The uni itself looks really modern and so does the accommodation. With Bristol the reputation is amazing and I feel I could potentially have more opportunities there. The labs look amazing and the teachers really push you to your full potential.
