Reviewed 1 week ago Travelled here from McLaren Vale for dinner. Had been recommended by locals. There is a beautiful view from the verandah so arriving before sunset is worthwhile. Upon arrival we were left standing for about 5 minutes. Then swept quickly to a verandah table and left... there for 20 mins. Heard other diners ordering something that wasn't on our menu. We struck a cold windy night and although the plastic screens were down, there was still a wind blowing under and we were cold. When someone finally came to take our order, we asked to move to the downstairs cellar (normally for functions but they had already moved other diners down there). Only when walking through the dining room did we see the specials board that we had not known about. Once re-seated downstairs (great ambience), we were left another 20 minutes before someone again came to take our order. Food (from the specials board) was good (hubby's steak slightly tough) but slow. We had a good look at all the wines and read a few wine books and magazines.
